Grayson Highlands State Park
Very rustic, rutted and unappealing the park has seen better days and is not advised for overnight guests. The permanant spots near the front are nice but for larger RVs the short term sites out back in the woods are just that… out back and in the woods. There is no guarantee that the cable works, that you will get all the channels or that a digital box may or may not be needed.
If you need cable TV at your campsite this destination might be a good choice. This electric service may be 20 amp, 30 amp, or 50 amp and may or may not be available at all campsites. Our information, reviews and photos suggest that if you have an electric powered device this destination has electric service available.

Share Tweet When you think of a ghost town, most likely you envision a rundown former mining town in the high deserts of the west. In part, this is true. For Halloween, take an RV camping trip to one or more of these historic and slightly creepy ghost towns. It was established with the discovery of gold in but dwindled when the ore ran out. Bannack has two campgrounds with a total of 24 sites.
The park also has a tipi available for rent. The town itself is still very much alive and is a big tourist draw during the summer and fall months. There is also a tent area and several rental cabins. However, the Calico Ghost Town in San Bernardino County has been kept alive with its popular tours, museum, shops, and campground. The Calico Ghost Town sports over silver mines and fully restored buildings. Calico is also a State Historical Landmark.
The ghost town offers sites with full and partial hookups. The campground also has hot showers, restrooms, and two dump stations.

Pioneer Park is a campground located near the city of Hot Sulphur Springs. The campground is maintained by County/City/Regional Park. This campground boasts to have 18 campsites available.
Portions of the site were acquired in the late ‘s and early ‘s. In a bond referendum, the citizens of Sarasota County voted to expand the beach by an additional feet. The results of the development of a dune restoration system in which includes five walkovers, has been very successful toward preserving and protecting the shoreline at this site. Camping, hiking, biking, tubing, beaches , canoeing, horseback riding, and events at music parks such as Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida on the Suwannee River are just some of the activities available in Florida campgrounds and rv parks.

California State Parks Campgrounds Dogs are allowed in California State Parks campgrounds, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and in a tent or enclosed vehicle at night. Pets are not permitted in park buildings, on trails, or on most beaches. Angeles National Forest Campgrounds Campsites are first come, first served with a maximum day stay at a site, and a total of 30 days stay per year in this Forest. The Angeles National Forest offer group campgrounds on all three of the ranger districts, some accommodating up to campers.
Dogs on a leash are allowed in the campgrounds and on the trails. Recreational Vehicles no longer than 30 feet. There are 40 campsites.
